General description of the collection: The Center of Military History memorandums regarding historical coverage of Operation Desert Shield/Storm contain 3 memorandums. The 1st memorandum was written on 30 August 1990 to update the Army leadership on the status of the lessons learned to ensure historical coverage. The 2nd memorandum from 30 Jan 1991, is about writing an early publication of an overview volume describing the United States (U.S.) Army's role in Desert Shield/Storm. It includes a draft outline, notes on General Harold W. Nelson's Storm proposal, a memorandum on Desert Storm records, and a copy of hostile operations records. The 3rd memorandum from 8 July 1991 is about providing a narrative on Army Materiel Command (AMC) support to Desert Shield/Storm within 90 days after the termination of Desert Storm, and includes a letter to General William G.
